Thanksgiving Dinner Menu Ideas and Recipes

Hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year? Thanksgiving menu ideas and recipes that are delicious and easy, and don’t break the bank.

We can definitely get carried away when it comes to the holidays and money, especially with the food budget. Make sure to shop with your list and only buy what you need.

A bit of truth telling here – I don’t host Thanksgiving dinner. I think I have only hosted one time in my 22 years of marriage. I do love to eat Thanksgiving dinner though!

My mom is the queen of Thanksgiving dinner, she has the timing of everything down to a science. I should have paid better attention to dinner prep instead of watching football with my dad when I was growing up!

Appetizers

I love appetizers! I think I could fill up on appetizers every Thanksgiving instead of dinner. You can go the cheese and crackers, olives and pickles route, or you can get a little fancy. As long as you stay in your budget, fancy it up all you want!

Hot Crab Dip is one of my favorites! I make this every year to bring to my Mom and Dad’s house.
