We all have our favorite go to meals. My favorite go to meal is pasta and meatballs in the instant pot.
Picture this: everyone is running late, you forgot to pull the meat out of the freezer in the morning, or you just don’t feel like making the dinner that was on your meal plan for the week. The kids are starving and hubby will be home in 10 minutes.
What are you going to cook for dinner?
It happens! You need that quick go to meal that you can throw together and prepare in less than 5 minutes.
You need a quick plan, a quick and easy dinner to get on the table. Enter the Instant Pot. This has saved my dinner more than once since I purchased it last year. I love, love, love mine and couldn’t live without it anymore.

Pasta and Meatballs Recipe
So, to the recipe. You are not going to believe how EASY this is!
Frozen meatballs. Yep, you read that right. I use about half a bag of frozen meatballs that I buy from Aldi’s. It is about 12 ounces of meatballs. Just cover the bottom of the Instant pot.
Dump the 16 ounce box of pasta over the top, uncooked, straight from the box.
Then you add the 24 ounce jar of sauce on top of the pasta, do not stir.
Fill that jar up with water, swish it around and dump that water on top of the sauce. Do not stir!
Make sure the Instant Pot is set to sealing and close and lock it in.
Set to manual mode, 6 minutes.
It takes about 10-15 minutes to get up to pressure. Then after the 6 minutes of cooking time, let the Instant Pot slow release for 10 minutes. I then use a wooden spoon or spatula and fast release.
Take the top off and mmm, mmmmm…..
Give it a quick stir and it is ready!
Super easy pasta and meatball dinner. Sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on the top and dinner is served!
One dish, not two or three on the stove top. Easy clean up too!
